BIO
Ever since I was a kid I loved to draw. Back then it was drawing dinosaurs with crayons, later it was making my own Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books. Even then it was quite clear what I was to do with my life.

Years later I decided to attend school at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.It was there where I learned  the concepts of illustration and fell in love with several tradional mediums such as charcoals, oil/acrylic and watercolor paints. I worked that way for years untill I was introduced to digital media. I discovered that through the use of Corel Painter and Adobe photoshop I was able to create and explore ideas faster and with greater freedom. Needless to say, today my paint brushes sit negelcted in a jar and my wacom tablet recieves much of my attention.

After recieving my BFA in traditional illustration, I returned home to the Boston area, where I currently illustrate and paint.
I am passionate about my craft and am driven to continually pursue quality and excellence in all aspects of my work.
HOW I WORK
Hardwarre:
IMAC OSX

Software:
Corel Painter
Adobe Photoshop

Traditional mediums:
Charcoal/ Chalk
Oil/ Acrylic paints

I mostly work in Corel Painter. I love Painter because it most closely represents the sensation of painting traditionally. I always have photoshop running alongside Painter. The two programs work great back and forth.
